The seminar took place on 13-15 November 2006 in Pondicherry, India and the event was co-organised by Coordination SUD (French NGO platform) and VANI (Indian NGO platform), in collaboration with Group URD (Emergency Rehabilitation Development) and CEC (Centre for Environment Concerns).
The seminar was organised as follows:
one day of field visits to projects that are related to the seminar’s discussion topics
two days of presentations and workshops.
A&D presented its case study in India on North-South NGO Partnerships addressing the following questions:
* Both before and after the tsunami, what are the different types of partnership agreements that exist between Indian and French NGOs?
* Do the different partnerships established between India and France differ from those established with other countries?
* What lessons can be drawn from these new partnerships for the future?
