Habitat Forum (INHAF) is promoted by individuals and groups involved in various aspects of human settlements and habitat development in India.

INHAF was initiated in February 1995
Management of the organization:
The management of INHAF is entrusted to the president and a board of members, which constitute the Executive Council (EC).
The EC meets yearly to oversee the activities of the society and discuss policy issues. Eventually INHAF aims to operate in a decentralized manner through its regional chapters.
A Governing Council , made up of 13 members (mostly from the South), formulates policies, reviews mandate, develops agenda and prepares broad guidelines for action.
The Secretariat oversees implementation, raises resources, liaisons with members, coordinates organizational & project activities and strives to build the organization in pursuit of its objectives.
