Organization structure

Almost 13 years since its inception, Inspiration has been able to bring under one roof a team of architects, planners, infrastructure engineers and technical experts, product designers and interior designers, construction management and business management personnel, trained artisans, craftsmen and technicians; which is capable of undertaking a varied range of architectural projects from private residences to institutional buildings to hotels and many more.

It is headed by Mr. Jaigopal, who is the managing director and partner, in charge of Designs and Mrs. Latha Raman, the director and partner in charge of Infrastructure. Currently, Inspiration has 8 architects, 9 civil engineers along with two product designers and a supporting administrative staff working in their head office in Ernakulam.

Besides they have a wide network of contacts such as experts in water management systems, paint technology, arts and craftsmen; consultants such as electrical, air-conditioning and plumbing; building material suppliers supplying everything from bricks to bamboos and terracotta ware etc.

Through the years they have been able to train and organize a team of skilled artisans and laborers, which is now independently registered as a Public Charitable Trust, know by the name of the Artisan's Trust, it has a core team of 8 artisans including carpenters, masons, bar benders, rubble masons and finishing works specialists, with the total team having a strength of more than 200 craftsmen, which include masons, carpenters, painters and craftsmen, all coming from many parts of the country.

They also run a metal and carpentry workshop under the name of Crafthouse, to be able to custom make furniture and artefacts as per their designs. The Crafthouse presently comprises of 50 skilled craftsmen, who provide custom made interior products for the varied kind of project requirements.

Their head office is situated in the city of Ernakulam, next to their residence. However, they are soon about to shift into their new office near Ernakulam, which is presently under construction and is made entirely using the technologies which they have been researching on such as rubblework, brickwork, laterite blocks, stabilized earth interlocking blocks, and predominantly preservative treated bamboo . They believe that their office structure will reflect their style of working and act as a demonstration centre for their technologies, which will speak for them and help them convince their clients better.
