On the chief Architect Bheemesh

Beemesh took up architecture on the suggestion of his uncle who was a professor at the Dept. of electronics and communications, JNTU Kakinada. He graduated from JNTU college of Architecture, Hyderabad (1982-87).

He received his under graduate training under Ar. Yeshwant Das and Lalit, Mumbai, where he worked on interesting projects such as design proposal for railway side squatter settlements, initiated by the Aga Khan foundation.

After hearing from his senior about the interesting research and work done Ar. Anil Laul, he decided to join him and worked for him at the Nizamuddin and the Anangpur Building Centre for 6 years from 1987 to 1993.

Then he decided to come back to his hometown, Visakhapatnam to set up his practice in 1994 under the name ‘The Living Spaces'. He now continues implementing and developing several systems that he had learned at the Nizamuddin and the Anangpur Building Centres such as Funicular shells, Ferro cement Technology and Cluster Housing Concepts in his projects at Visakhapatnam. In the process of his work, he has been able to train a team of people in the use of appropriate technology.

He has designed and built the buildings for the Department of Architecture and the extension of the academic wing of the Dept. of Geo-engineering in the Andhra University Campus.

He is a faculty in the Department of Architecture at the Andhra University
