Background
The Rishi Samskruti Vidya Kendra RSVK founded by Shri. Rishi Prabhakar has centres all over India and in the world. As part of their activities they build ashrams, and schools for propagating their philosophy and beliefs.
The organisation, now run by a board of members, was planning to build a centre on the outskirts of Vizag. For which they employed architects Nimish Patel and Parul Zaveri from Ahmedabad.
Hence, they were looking for a local architect who could give technical assistance and supervise in the execution of the design.
Through a common friend they came to know about Ar. Bheemesh whom they called upon, and who met them for the first time in Ahmedabad. But, when they realised the kind of training that he had and the kind of work he was interested in, they decided to hand over the entire commission to him, from design to execution.
To design a school premises for imparting the Indian method of education namely, gurukul system of teaching. The gurukul system is the ancient Indian education system, wherein a student comes to live with his ‘guru' (teacher), and by observing and serving him learns how to educate his own self and develop holistically into a well-balanced human being, both mentally and physically. |
