Impact

Architect Bheemesh believes that the only way to disseminate is to build. There is no substitute to experience.

Labour
the workers were from the surrounding villages, but the masons were from Srikakulam. As the labour was not very skilled, they were not in a position to understand complex drawings. Hence the architect developed and explained details on the site itself by laying materials on the ground in a dry pattern.

This building went a big way in installing confidence among other local architects to try and experiment with similar techniques.

Many people including the members of the organisation and parents of the school children were sceptical of the construction techniques used by Bheemesh for the building. For them it was difficult to understand how one could construct a stable building without using steel or concrete. Hence it was a challenge for the architect to convince the client about his construction techniques. So much so that in order to win the trust of the client, the architect signed an assurance letter vouching the responsibility of the structure and its stability.

The use of new alternate technology that was introduced into the region as a prototype for further development.

The education of the labourers involved in the construction process.
