Projects history (curriculum, number of projects, and detailing)

We have worked with 50 voluntary organizations over the last 3 years on various publishing, messaging, e-commerce, knowledge management, collaboration, and advocacy projects. We have held numerous technical and non-technical trainings our projects.

We specialize in customizing Zope Application Server for the needs of the Voluntary Sector. We have collaborated with Murray Culshaw Advisory Services, Rotary Club and Madhuvan for an offline and online directory of voluntary organizations in Karnataka called Bangalore Cares.

In collaboration with Give Foundation and Murray Culshaw Advisory Services, we are building a national donation channel on a portal called ICICI Communities

On going projects

•  Gerarchical booklet system for student in US Universities

•  “Voluntary sector portal” sponsored by ICICI bank design by NGO Give Foundation, Mahiti built two section (donate and voluntary).

Analysing the donate section:

There is a list of all the NGOs in Karnataka (part of the portal) with all the details about the single org. in a standard format. The idea is to have information on the org of public domain in order to have people supporting the organizations. The Org in order to be part of the portal (and so to have donations) have to give all the request information, especially economical. The format to follow by the NGOs was decided after 8 meetings within all the ORG; it is still a draft.

The information can be uploaded directly by the NGO with the support of a responsible from Give Foundation.

•  “Relation ship Manager” based on Zope. It's a software that helps NGOs in management of their relationship. There is a multiple access to donors' databases manager for NGOs.

• 

•  Project with UNICEF “Samoha?”, North Karnataka. They developed two sections. It is a base land survey of the villages (40) It's a software to monitoring the villages, control from Bangalore. If the information is quick the respond will be quick.
