Gram Vikas

Gram Vikas was founded to bring about a social change in the despairing situation of the villages in Orissa.  Through the years they have been able to bring about a visible, large-scale change in the lives of thousands of tribals and marginalized people.  Their health and sanitation and integrated development programme were formulated to bring about a striking change in the villages through their innovative policy of complete participation of the people in the development processes.  For these reasons, they have been put in the category of ‘social processes'.
