La septième session du Forum urbain mondial (WUF7) aura lieu àMedellin, en Colombie, du 5 au 11 Avril 2014. Organisé tous les deux ans, le Forum est un événement important dans le calendrier international réunissant un large éventail de participants venus du monde entier pour discuter des principaux défis urbains auxquels est confronté le monde d’aujourd’hui. discussions lors du Forum urbain mondial en Colombie se concentrera sur le thème principal : Egalité villes en développement - Villes pour la vie.

> WELCOME TO WUF 7
> The Seventh session of the World Urban Forum (WUF7) will take place from 5 to 11 April 2014 in Medellin, Colombia under the theme Urban Equity in Development - Cities for Life.

> NETWORKING AND SIDE EVENTS APPLICATION ONGOING
> The call for applications to host Networking and Side event commenced on 1 August and due to public demand the application deadline has been extended to 30 October 2013.

> TRAINING EVENTS
> Submission of Training proposals commenced on 9 September and will close on 7 November. Training events are led by different partners/institutions well-known for their educational, training and research works. Each Training event will focus on a particular theme and are practical, problem-solving oriented and intensive in nature. They provide an essential "how to" approach to development challenges with latest innovative tools, methodologies, instruments and package of knowledge to support implementation.

> DRAFT PROGRAAMME AT A GLANCE
> The draft programme at a glance , which provides you with an overview of events taking place throughout the week, can be found on the website and will be updated as it becomes more defined. The official opening of WUF7 is scheduled to take place on 7 April 2014 in the late afternoon.
>
> ACCOMMODATION
> The online booking center is at your disposal from 18 September and found at the Hotels and Accommodation menu. Participants are encouraged to reserve accommodation early, because of the large number of attendees expected at the Forum.
>
> ONLINE REGISTRATION
> Online registration opened on 17 July on the WUF7 website at : www.unhabitat.org/wuf and will close on 16 March 2014. Already 1,000 people have registered. Join us and participate at WUF7 !
>
> MORE EXCITING NEWS ON ALL EVENTS ...
> We will inform you soon on the Dialogues, Roundtables, Special sessions, World Urban Youth Assembly, Gender Equality Action Assembly and Business Assembly and other events to take place at the Forum.
